Adelaide

On our way to Adelaide we spent a few days with some friends in the country.
We came across this unusual Aboriginal Canoe Tree. Years ago the aboriginals would
carve pieces out of certain trees and make a canoe. These trees are found around Australia
in certain areas and still show the imprint of the carved out bark. Interesting stuff.
We also came across a herd of sheep that had gotten out of their paddock.
We found them wandering down the road so we rounded them up and put them
back were they belonged. Baaaad sheep.
We spent almost a week in Adelaide and found it a beautiful clean city.
There are an abundance of parks and the city is also know as the city
of churches. There are beautiful old churches all over the place, although we never
got to see the inside of one. The city is right on the ocean with lovely beaches.
